Visualizing your tulpa and talking to them is an effective and harmless way to force them
Avatar
uh, okay, thanks
3:21 PM
and second of all, how do i visualise somebody 2d into 3d world?
Avatar
Don't stress about personality, imo it's better to just let it develop naturally rather than planning it out

Practice

Also, you don't really have to visualize your tulpa. It's purely optional
Avatar
Visualization allows a different method of interaction - which is good, but as Luna said: optional.
3:24 PM
Personality develops over time with experience. Give them experience, and their personality will develop - just as they do as a person.
Avatar
so, how's my everyday practice in wonderland should look like, in order to give her soul?
Avatar
It doesn't need to be in a daydream (the "wonderland").

By soul you mean personality, independent agency?
Avatar
It should look like interacting with them, be it speaking, showing them the world, or some other form of symbolism.
Avatar
You don't need to do any sort of wonderlanding, it's optional. And I think it might be better to go without it, that way you won't get distracted by making sure it looks right or whatever when you should just be focusing on the tulpa

Well, you can just fantasize about your tulpa in a way you enjoy it. It is not compulsory to use wonderland but you can interact with them in imaginary world if the idea is appealing to you.
Avatar
i mean, maybe you can tell me about some exercises to do with her everyday?
Avatar
Visualize and narrate about something.
3:32 PM
There isn't really anything more specific than that.
Avatar
I went for a run yesterday and did nothing but chat to her. She was quite motivational up the hills 😃
Avatar
Why have I been getting so many headaches recently before I even begin active forcing?
Avatar
I'm not sure anyone here could accurately determine that without asking quite a few more questions or otherwise knowing a lot more about your actions.
7:55 PM
It may or may not be affected by forcing, though if it is occuring before you begin I would suspect that it is not in fact caused by such.
7:55 PM
More likely, some other untimely cause.
Avatar
Idk I guess I've been having a bunch of lucid dreams recently, not to mention I've been keeping my distance from technology but I don't think that has much to do with it
Avatar
Not drinking enough water, watching too many screens... there are several possibilities.
Avatar
Maybe...
Avatar
unhealthy foods (greasy maybe), not enough water, too much focus that results in stress, that sorta thing
11:16 PM
in our experience
11:16 PM
if you get them "before forcing" that means they weren't caused by forcing lol
11:17 PM
try doing some stretching if not real exercise, drink water (or orange juice orangejuice), and if you're already staying away from technology that's not it
11:18 PM
headaches related to tulpamancy should go away pretty quick (as in stop happening over the next few weeks) 'cus they seem to be stress from focusing on new mental muscles
11:18 PM
like if you're not used to doing visualization or paying so much attention to mindvoice/etc.
11:19 PM
I know no one at all that's had developed tulpas for a long time that still gets headaches from interacting with them
Avatar
We might get slight head pressures from fronting but that's pretty much it
Avatar
yeah headaches aren't head pressures though
Avatar
I know
Avatar
a lot of guides goes in depth on personality, like really in depth, like likes or dislikes, motivations, etc.
6:52 AM
idk if i should follow
Avatar
personality forcing used to be a lot more common
6:53 AM
those are probably some fairly old guides
Avatar
yeah like 2014-2016 guides

By personality forcing you mean describing traits?
Avatar
can tulpas have their own tulpa?
Avatar
There is no nesting tulpas
Avatar
No nesting, but could a Tulpa create another Tulpa in the host, or would that require the host’s approval?
Avatar
Tul-ception
Avatar
does tulpa headcramping you is part of the tulpish language?
Avatar
💜 Hibiki 💜 & {Luna} 7/24/2018 11:00 AM
{Yes, a tulpa can create another tulpa. They are after all(After enough development) really no different than the host.}
Avatar
Tulpa can fantasize too. And that's how you create another tulpa basically.
11:06 AM
Well, it's what some of us believe that tulpas are no different than hosts after enough development.
11:09 AM
Also, even if tulpa is still no different from an imaginary friend, you still can feel her doing actions independently from you. You might feel that if you fantasize about another tulpa, your first one has significant impact on creation of the second one.
11:09 AM
Your tulpa can have your own tulpa. TL;DR, tulpa is just another individual, and at some point, they can do everything you can.
11:10 AM
I'm afraid they cannot have their private tulpas. You still share the same mind
11:10 AM
To an extent, they can.
11:10 AM
Asena really doesn't like me talking about it, but for example, she has two child tulpas she doesn't let anyone see or know about. Not even me. It's just like a locked off Wonderland. I MIGHT be able to force my way in, but that'd be disrespectful.
11:10 AM
Think of thought suppression, basically.
11:11 AM
If you think about X, the thought of X gets repressed actively.
Avatar
Have you ever seen or heard them?
Avatar
I have, once.
11:12 AM
When I was younger, y'know. But, the community frowns upon 'tulpa babbies', so she doesn't say anything.
11:12 AM
But I feel it's relevant to the conversation.
11:12 AM
And do you think those child tulpas have the same possibilities as the rest of you?
11:12 AM
I don't know.
11:12 AM
I really don't.
11:12 AM
Just saying my experience on the matter.
11:15 AM
Like, we were really young, and she just couldn't part with them. I later found out she kept them as tulpas around.
11:16 AM
That's fair that you share your experiences. But remember experiences and their interpretation are 2 different things
11:16 AM
I know full well, Luna.
11:17 AM
I know that the only differences between tulpa, host, and other tulpas is just perception.
11:17 AM
You share the body, the brain, physiological aspects, everything.
11:17 AM
I am aware, however, this is my experience, and I believe I can plausibly explain it.
Avatar
as a bit of a side-question, what do you mean by perception there?
11:17 AM
Perception as in "self" perception, or as in each tulpa having a different perspective?
Avatar
Well, heard of the quote "Put two people in the same room, and make them see something, you'll hear two different stories" or something alike?
11:17 AM
Anyways, brb, game.
11:18 AM
Well, it might really have been an illusion of separation. I think we don't really know if it is the case though.
11:19 AM
Yes, but an illusion in and of its own right can be reality to the one under said illusion.
11:19 AM
After all, the beginning of tulpamancy is deception, deceiving yourself the tulpa is there.
11:20 AM
Well, imo it's rather like building a habit
11:20 AM
To trick your brain, the tulpa is there.
11:21 AM
In any case, that's our experience on the matter.
Avatar
the illusion is just necessary (or really helpful at least) to making a tulpa real
12:11 PM
imposition is deception, tulpas themselves are not
12:11 PM
tulpas are definitely a thing going on in your head, and if you think tulpas aren't real then you're holding on to some sort of immaterial belief that a person is more than they are
12:12 PM
bam, said a big word
12:12 PM
and yes I just replied to the last like 2 sentences and not the whole convo so don't take that as super directed at you
Avatar
I think the part about building habits is pretty on point though. At least for me tulpamancy in general became a lot easier to do ever since narration became kind of an automatic thing and I made active forcing sessions a habit
Avatar
yes tulpas are a mix of habits and the brain actually learning how to "be another person" instead of just "you" the host
12:21 PM
tbh I didn't really read anything before the two messages I replied to
12:21 PM
I probably wasn't disagreeing with anyone
Avatar
i heard about 'system' around in the tulpa community
12:34 PM
what is it
12:34 PM
i tried googling but i cant find a definitive answer
Avatar
Group of people in a brain
Avatar
as in.. like what, tulpa/tulpas?
Avatar
a system is all the entities in a body
Avatar
Tulpa, host, and anything else
Avatar
you could call it the body itself, but it focuses more on the "these are the people" part
12:35 PM
our system has 4 tulpas and our host in it
12:35 PM
^usage example
12:36 PM
as for what the server role means, who knows lol (edited)
